Our process begins with milled wood slabs. These slabs begin at roughly 2″ thickness, however the table will end at 1.5″ – 1.75″ thick. Our experts will work with you to create the optimal arrangement. We next apply the epoxy color of your choosing. Once the table is complete, we install the legs of your choosing and prepare it for shipment!
Colors & Additions
We have over 25 distinct color possibilities and can mix any of them to get the exact color you want. You may also incorporate bespoke elements into your design, such as seashells, money, and pebbles. We may also include swirls and similar motifs into the epoxy itself.
Types of Epoxy Tables
There are a few distinct types of epoxy tables. For starters, there’s the traditional river table. This epoxy table has two slabs of wood on either side of an epoxy “river” that runs through the center. There are also twin river tables with three slabs and two rivers, as well as slab enclosed tables with epoxy on the exterior of the wooden slabs.
Finish
For the most part, we finish our items with a conversion varnish. Conversion varnish is a premium, long-lasting finishing substance known for its outstanding resistance to wear, chemicals, and moisture, making it an excellent choice for furniture. For epoxy tables that will be exposed to a lot of sunshine, we recommend a UV protection treatment.
Pricing
Our live edge wood epoxy tables can cost anywhere from $3,000 to $7,500. We price our tables depending on a number of criteria, including the type of wood used and the size of the table you choose. The amount of epoxy resin used will also impact the ultimate cost. These considerations are critical in determining the ultimate cost of your wood epoxy table since the materials we use can be fairly expensive.
